  • Is the school a safe space for everybody – physically, emotionally, socially and mentally?
Our aim is to create a safe, relaxed and calm atmosphere that will not only allow our learners to be happy, but will also enable them to reach their full potential. Mount Pleasant Primary School is committed to providing your child with a healthy and stable environment wherein your child’s intellectual, spiritual and physical needs can be met and developed to their maximum potential so that they can further their education with confidence. We are a values-driven school with the focus on the core values of respect, compassion, responsibility, integrity and work ethic.
  • Are the teachers qualified and SACE registered?
All our teachers are professionally qualified and registered with the South African Council for Educators.
  • Are parents viewed as a vital part of their child’s learning journey?
When parents are actively involved in their child’s education, better results are achieved. It is vitally important that parents support their children in their homework, test preparation, task completion and are present at sporting matches or cultural events. We also encourage parental involvement through our SGB, PTA, class representatives, Praying Moms and volunteering their time at fund raising initiatives. Communication with the school and teachers is key.
  • What is an FAQ section?
An FAQ section can be used to quickly answer common questions about you or your business, such as “Where do you ship to?”, “What are your opening hours?” or “How can I book a service?” It’s a great way to help people navigate your site and can even boost your site’s SEO.
